Plesk allows to create records with empty values in DNS template at Tools & Settings > DNS Template).
When creating a new domain in Plesk with such configuration, the operation fails with:
PLESK_ERROR: Error: Unable to load object of type BsDomain with id=2: Domain does not exist.
If there is an empty <domain>. A record in DNS Template, then creation of a subdomain fails with the error:
PLESK_ERROR: Error: Failed domain creation: Unable to update domain data: Unable to add the test.example.com. IN A record to zone test.example.com: Incorrect DNS record values were specified: test.example.com. IN A : (‘displayVal’ = ”, ‘val’ = ”)
This is a Plesk bug with ID PPPM-11241, which will be fixed in future product updates.
In Plesk, go to Tools & Settings > DNS Template.
Click the Default button to restore the default settings.
