We are adjusting our prices to ensure that we can continue to invest heavily in product development and grow our partner ecosystem. Furthermore, we are planning to launch even more new solutions to support our journey in becoming the leader in server, web infrastructure, and WordPress automation solutions. 

The exact increase depends on the specific license or product. The overall average increase is around 15%. For an overview, you can also consult the dedicated Plesk Licensing Guide.

The new pricing will come into effect on January 1st, 2023. Plesk customers will be billed the new license rates on their first 2023 invoice.

We are adjusting the pricing on all Plesk license-related products. Bear in mind that in email notifications, the communicated prices are the net prices and do not reflect any current individual discounts.

There is nothing you need to do, and you should not expect any disruption. These changes only affect our billing and invoicing processes, and all changes (if any) will be done by us. You will not have to change any license keys or other information on your servers.

No. As part of this adjustment exercise, our SKUs (Stock Keeping Units) will remain the same. The existing SKUs will continue being used and we will only adjust their price. We also have no plans to change the licensing model.

Yes, we are increasing the price for all active legacy licenses such as Plesk 10/11, Confixx, etc. This is due to the increased cost of support and management over the past two decades. We encourage all our customers to join our new licensing structure (Plesk Obsidian), to ensure that they enjoy access to the latest features and security updates.

At Plesk, as in other software companies, we periodically assess the impact of our pricing to ensure there is a reasonable alignment with the needs of our customers and partners across the globe and our own cost of doing business. Therefore, we may make further price adjustments to be able to deliver our customers with outstanding value and an exceptional product within a reasonable price.

We strive to deliver the best tools available on the market to our customers. Billing will be automatically updated. We do not currently provide discounts on licenses purchased through the store; all customers pay the same list price. Yes. You can log into your Plesk account and upgrade your licenses as needed during the notification period (September 28, 2022 through December 31, 2022). On January 1, 2023, regardless of the license type, we will automatically adjust the pricing.

As a business owner, you have several paths available to you with regard to how to manage this price adjustment. Some of the options available include passing the cost directly on to the end-users by increasing prices, leveraging creative marketing ideas to create fair use policies, and offering value-adding upsells to customers to increase revenue.
