How to manage spam protection in Plesk using command-line interface?
Answer
The spamassassin utility is used to manage Spamassassin spam filter through CLI/Command Prompt:
Linux:
# /usr/local/psa/bin/spamassassin --help
Windows:
C:>"%plesk_cli%spamassassin.exe" --help
By using this utility, the following tasks can be performed on a Linux server:
- enabling/disabling server-wide spam filtering
- setting the criteria for automatic labeling of incoming messages as spam
- enabling/disabling use of mail-name specific spam filtering criteria
- adding mail messages to the Spamassassin's black and white lists
- marking mail subjects as spam
- deleting spam automatically
- inserting custom text into spam message subject lines automatically
On a Windows server:
- enabling the use of server-wide spam filtering settings
- setting the number of hits required to mark a letter as spam
- adding mail addresses to black and white lists
- marking mail subject as spam, deleting spam messages
