How to install and set up Mailman in Plesk for Linux?

Answer

Note: not applicable for Plesk on Ubuntu 22 and Ubuntu 24 due to Mailman bugs.

1. Log in to Plesk.

2. Go to Tools & Settings > Updates (under Plesk).

   Note: If Plesk Web Installer is not accessible, refer to the command-line instructions.

   
   

3. On the Updates page, click Add/Remove Components.

   

4. On the Add/Remove Components page, expand Mail hosting and click Mailman > Install. Click Continue to begin the installation.

   

5. Once the installation completes, go back to Plesk > Tools & Settings > Set Up Mailing Lists Server (under Mail).

6. Set up the administrator account and click OK.

   

7. Once the administrator account is set up, the Mailing Lists option will appear on domain's Mail tab.
