For CloudLinux license purchased with new CloudLinux OS extension
Yes, CloudLinux license is registered automatically and no user-action is required.
For CloudLinux license not purchased with new CloudLinux OS extension
No, CloudLinux license key must be registered manually.
Perform the following steps to register your server with CloudLinux Network using your activation key:

Connect to the Plesk server via SSH.

Run the following commands:
# yum install rhn-setup --enablerepo=cloudlinux-base
# /usr/sbin/rhnreg_ks --activationkey=<activation key> --forceNote: Activation key looks like "1231-2b48feedf5b5a0e0609ae028d9275c93"
# sh cldeploy -i
# reboot
