Symptoms

Migration fails to start with error:

Permission denied (publickey,gssapi-with-mic,password)

Cause

Public key authentication is turned off in the SSH config file of the source server.

Solution

1 Connect to the source server via SSH

1. Edit the SSH config file /etc/ssh/sshd_config and set PubkeyAuthentication to yes

   # vi /etc/ssh/sshd_config
   PubkeyAuthentication yes

2. Reload the sshd service:

   # service sshd reload

3. Restart migration
