Could not install SitePad Website Builder extension on Plesk for Linux server: PHP is not installed

Symptoms

• The extension SitePad Website Builder installation fails with one of the following errors:

  The execution of pre-install.php has failed with the following message:
  sh: /usr/bin/php: No such file or directory
  ionCube Loader is not loaded. Please enable it to continue installation

  ---

  Could not install the SitePad Website Builder extension
  * The execution of pre-install.php has failed with the following message:
  * PHP is not installed. Please install PHP at /usr/bin/php to continue installation

  ---

  Could not install the SitePad Website Builder extension
  * The execution of pre-install.php has failed with the following message:
  * sh: 1: /usr/bin/php: not found
  * ionCube Loader is not loaded. Please enable it to continue installation

Cause

The PHP by OS vendor handler required by the extension is not installed on the server.

Resolution

1. Log into Plesk.

2. Go to Tools & Settings > Updates > Add/Remove Components > Web hosting > PHP interpreter versions mark PHP from OS vendor for installation.

3. Click Continue to install it.

4. Retry the installation of SitePad Website Builder from Plesk > Extensions menu.
