To help prevent data loss, Plesk can back up your data, such as
websites’ content, databases, or emails, to a file. Should your data
become corrupted or lost, you can restore it from a backup file. This
topic explains how to back up and restore your websites in Plesk.
You can back up manually at any time. You can
also configure a scheduled backup that will be
created automatically and periodically. To ensure the safety of your
websites’ data, we recommend configuring a scheduled backup.
You can create any number of backups in Plesk. However, the disk space
taken up by backups stored on the Plesk server counts against your total
disk quota. To avoid running out of disk space, you can remove outdated
backups, configure remote storage, or
download backups to your computer.
