PHP version can not be selected for a domain in Plesk despite other PHP settings are manageable

Symptoms

• Restricted Mode is enabled under Tools & Settings>Restricted Mode Settings
• It is not possible to change PHP version of the domain. The PHP version drop-down menu is not present but other PHP Settings are manageable

Cause

The feature of managing PHP versions was disabled in Restricted Mode settings

Resolution

1. Log into Plesk.
2. Go to Tools & Settings > Restricted Mode Settings.
3. Disable Restricted mode by unchecking the Enable Restricted Mode option and applying changes.
4. Then enable Restricted Mode with the option of managing PHP versions
