Migration to Plesk fails with an error: cannot use a string pattern on a bytes-like object

Migration fails:

Migration tools tried to perform operation in 3 attempts: Unable to create subscription 'example.com'.

cannot use a string pattern on a bytes-like object

Product issue:

#PMT-5365 "Fixed the issue where, during the migration, the error message about limits being exceeded was hidden by the âcannot use a string pattern on a bytes-like objectâ error message."

Until the bug is fixed, check debug log for the exact error message:

Log in to Plesk.
Go to Tools & Settings > Migration & Transfer Manager > Log tab.
Enable the Show debug messages checkbox and expand the latest section marked with exclamation sign !, search for the found errors in Plesk knowledge base.
