Cannot access Plesk File Manager: Unable to execute plesk_exec_with_response

Symptoms

Cannot access File Manager:

external error: Unable to find the directory E:vhostsexample.com: filemng failed: Unable to execute plesk_exec_with_response: Unable to start ("C:Program Files (x86)ParallelsPleskadminbinfilemng.exe" example.com list dirs E:vhostsexample.com)<br> at Plesk impersonation(PipeServer::ServerThread::runAs line 752)<br> at (zif_plesk_exec_with_response line 1204)

Cause

Process filemng.exe cannot be started due to broken impersonation.

Resolution

Note: if you don't have administrative access to Plesk server via RDP, contact your hosting provider regarding the issue

Login to the server over RDP
Start Plesk Reconfigurator:

C:> "%plesk_bin%reconfigurator.exe"
Go to Repair Plesk installation > Plesk File Security , select Plesk Services and press Check.
