Database issues found by Plesk Repair after MariaDB Upgrade: The attribute ‘type’ value mismatch: datetime in the original schema and datetime

Symptoms

• Several Plesk database errors are observed after a manual MariaDB upgrade

• The Plesk repair utility shows warnings as the following examples:

  The attribute 'type' value mismatch: datetime in the original
  schema and datetime /* mariadb-5.3 */ in the Plesk database.

  Wrong attributes for the column 'column_name' in the table 'table_name'

Cause

Database schema was not upgraded along with the MariaDB upgraded version.

Resolution

1. Log in to Plesk server via SSH

2. Run repair utility to automatically fix the database structure:

   # plesk repair db -y -v
