We’re excited to announce the latest updates and improvements in Plesk! This release brings a host of new features, enhancements, and important changes to ensure you have the best experience possible. Let’s dive into the highlights:
Panel and Hosting Improvements
Windows Server 2025 Support
Support for Windows Server 2025 is now available. This update allows you to utilize the latest advancements in Windows Server technology.
However, please note that due to a limitation in Microsoft DNS on this version, it is not possible to create HTTPS and CAA DNS records in Plesk. The ability to perform a dist-upgrade to Windows Server 2025 will be added in future releases.
Ubuntu 24.04 LTS for DigitalOcean Cloud
Plesk for Linux now supports Ubuntu 24.04 LTS on DigitalOcean Cloud, providing you with more options for your hosting environment.
Small Improvements That Make a Difference
Password Reset Link

We have added a “Password Reset Link” next to each email address on the “Email Addresses” tab. This update brings the most frequently used actions to the forefront, making it easier for subscription administrators to manage email addresses.
Database Display

We have redesigned the way databases are displayed in Dynamic List view. The new interface is modern, sleek, and user-friendly, offering smooth and fast transitions thanks to the use of drawers.
Auto-Reply Function in Plesk for Windows
We have replaced the auto-reply function developed by Plesk with native solutions provided by the supported mail servers. This improvement increases email sending and deliverability when DMARC, DKIM, and SPF are used. For details and recommended actions, check out the Feature and Deprecation Plan.
Performance Booster
Plesk for Linux now includes MySQL/MariaDB optimizations for MariaDB 11.4, enhancing performance and efficiency. More info can be found here.
WP Toolkit 6.6.8 updates
WP Toolkit now supports the use of hooks for executing custom scripts after specific actions are completed. This functionality is enabled by default across all WP Toolkit installations allowing for greater automation and customization in your WordPress workflows. This feature is available through the Event Handlers mechanism.
Additionally, new hooks have been introduced, including “cloning finished” and “data copy finished,” offering even more control during site management operations. WP Toolkit also now supports WP Guardian licenses (a Plesk add-on) when they are delivered as separate files, expanding compatibility and ease of use.
GPG Key Update
We have changed the GPG key used to sign Plesk packages and repositories to a stronger one. This update prevents security warnings about weak algorithms during Plesk installations and updates.
Deployment Changes, Deprecations, and Removals
There is an extensive list of deprecated and removed items so please make sure to read the whole list here. Below are some of the highlights.
Deprecated APS Catalog Applications
The following outdated APS Catalog applications will be deprecated and removed in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.71: DotNetNuke, Magento, Zen Cart, concrete5, phpList, osCommerce, Gallery, BBClone, SugarCRM, Coppermine, and SquirrelMail.
The BIND DNS server has been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows. We recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks to ensure a smooth upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70.
The Horde component has been removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
RKHunter has been removed from the Watchdog extension.
