Error on attemt to update Wordress instance: There is no appropriate version to update WordPress instance

Symptoms

The error appeared on the attempt to update the WordPress instance:

ERR [panel] Task failed: id=4088, pid=15481, type=ext-wp-toolkit-update-instance, error=There is no appropriate version to update WordPress instance

Cause

Such behavior can arise on attempts to update the instance that is already updated.

Note: For example, if the instance was directly updated via the WordPress Dashboard and the WP Toolkit configuration has not been updated and shows that update is still required.

Resolution

Update the WP Toolkit configuration in order to synchronize the data:

1. Log into Plesk
2. Go to Domains > example.com > WordPress
3. Click the Refresh button

Note: A UX improvement with ID EXTWPTOOLK-5631 has been created to make the error message more explicit.
