You can search by a list of certain values of the following license
attributes:
-
License number.
-
GUID.
Note that searching by lists supports only GUIDs of types HWID and PA
HWID. -
Activation code.
The difference of this kind of search from the search described in
Custom Search Query is that lists of values are stored
in Partner Central and can be reused.
The search by lists works in the following way. After you have specified
a list of values, it is saved automatically on the server and is
assigned an ID. Partner Central then automatically creates a custom
search query using the list
parameter. The list
parameter takes
the list’s ID as a value. For example, list:3
.
Using the search by lists allows running corresponding queries many
times without the need to specify a list of values each time. Also, it
enables users to easily share a search query.
The owner of a list (the user who created this list) can view and update
the list. The updated list is saved as a new list with another ID. Other
users can only perform the search by typing list:<
id >
in
the search box.
If a list is not used for 90 days, it is removed.
To create a list of values and search by this list:
-
On the Manage Licenses tab, open the menu under the plus icon (to
the right of the search box), and click Search by List of
Licenses. -
Type the values in the Search by List of Licenses form. Do not
specify the “list” word. Values should either start on a new line, or
be separated by a semicolon, tab stop, space, or comma. If you search by license numbers, you can type a full number or just
its middle part. Zeros in the beginning can be omitted. For example,
to search for PLSK.02320288.0007, type either of the following:
PLSK.02320288.0007, PLSK.02320288, 02320288, 2320288.Example of a list of license numbers:
PLSK.02869885.0001 PLSK.02869692.0001 PLSK.02869682.0001
-
Click Search.

Partner Central will display a list of licenses that were found. It…
