We once again reached out to the Plesk community for feedback on the features delivered in 2025 and the improvements our users want next. In total, 401 customers responded, representing hosting providers, agencies, developers, and IT professionals. Rather than just tallying satisfaction scores, our survey aimed to uncover how Plesk is helping you save time, strengthen security, and deliver better web experiences. Your responses give us valuable direction for the future.
Your 2025 Favourites

One message stood out above all: security remains the foundation of a successful web platform. By far, the most appreciated updates this year were those that help customers harden their servers against attacks. For example, our latest enhancements to brute-force attack and DDoS protection received top marks in the survey. This feedback makes it clear that resilient, built-in defenses are highly valued by web professionals.
Beyond security, customers also highlighted other key themes. Many praised recent platform and ecosystem updates – such as support for MariaDB 11.8 on Linux and refreshed third-party component libraries – that keep Plesk up-to-date with modern technologies. Performance improvements were also cited, including the ability to enable HTTP/3 on a per-site basis. And WordPress users told us they loved the continued enhancements to the WP Toolkit, which simplifies WordPress site creation, updates, and security. Respondents appreciated improvements that strengthen the platform they already rely on, whether by boosting performance, adding compatibility, or simply making routine tasks easier.
What Would Make Next Releases Even Better?

We also asked what’s most needed in the months ahead. Again, security and efficiency came through strongly. At the top of the wish list were major new security tools – for example, many respondents requested a built-in firewall manager to make server protection easier. Enhanced brute-force protection was another very common request.
Backup and recovery were another clear priority. Respondents frequently asked for smarter backup scheduling, easier restores, and overall improved backup management. In fact, “backup management” was specifically called out as one of the most requested improvements – reflecting how crucial reliable backups are for web hosts.
Other notable requests included: better webmail and email administration features (modern webmail interfaces, spam/DKIM setup wizards, etc.), integrated Security & Performance Advisor tools (automated site scanning and recommendations), and advanced DNS troubleshooting utilities (helping non-experts diagnose DNS issues from the panel). Many developers also want more features to support modern workflows – for example, deeper Node.js and Git integration, container/docker support, or collaboration tools.
Importantly, nearly all of these requested features align with plans already on Plesk’s roadmap. We can say that many of the top requests are already under consideration for future releases. Your feedback helps us prioritize those areas. We’ll continue to refine our roadmap based on what you’ve told us.
AI: Practical, Real-World Solutions

Artificial intelligence has been a buzzword, but our survey suggests customers want practical AI features that truly simplify hosting management. In responses, users weren’t asking for AI for its own sake – they want AI-driven tools that tackle real operational problems. Top requests included things like AI-powered troubleshooting assistants (e.g. an intelligent wizard to diagnose site issues), AI-based performance optimization (suggesting resource tweaks or caching rules), and automated configuration helpers (guiding initial server setup). Security-related AI (e.g. detecting anomalies or recommending firewall rules) and intelligent log analysis (using AI to sift through server logs for issues) were also popular ideas.
Customers said they want an AI co-pilot for mundane tasks: things like spotting problems before they break, tuning servers for best efficiency, or automating repetitive setups. As one summary puts it, the goal is “AI that actually reads your logs” and solves real problems. These insights will influence how we incorporate AI – we will focus on quiet, smart helpers rather than flashy features.
Beyond Features: Your Feedback on UX and Pricing
Besides specific features, many survey comments focused on the overall Plesk experience. The recurring theme was pricing and transparency. Some respondents praised Plesk’s affordability, while cautioning against future price hikes. We hear you: pricing clarity and value are critical, and we’re committed to balancing new development with reasonable costs.
Many customers said they find the Plesk interface intuitive and attractive. At the same time, users suggested polishing areas like the email/DNS setup flows, better guidance for Email/Domain/DKIM configuration. We’ll keep improving the admin UI and documentation to make common tasks as foolproof as possible.
A few users also mentioned performance and efficiency of the panel itself (speed, memory usage) and asked for modernizations in development workflows. These broader comments – on pricing, design, and workflow – are as valuable as feature requests, because they help us ensure Plesk remains smooth and cost-effective in everyday use.
Looking Ahead

This survey is just one step in an ongoing conversation. We’d like to thank everyone who took the time to share their thoughts. The 2025 survey confirmed many priorities we already suspected from industry trends: strong security and stability first, operational efficiency second, and practical AI on the horizon. It also surfaced in specific areas where we can do better – and we’ll be using this feedback to shape Plesk’s direction.
We can say this: your voice is driving our roadmap. Many of the requested features are already being evaluated or planned, and others will help us set future priorities. In the meantime, know that every comment – from “the UI is outstanding” to “fix my webmail” – is heard and appreciated. We’ll continue rolling out improvements that solve the real challenges of hosting and web infrastructure, because helping you succeed is what keeps us working hard.
Thank you again for your feedback. Keep an eye on the Plesk blog and product roadmap for ongoing updates!
