Plesk Obsidian 18.0.73: Usability and Performance Improvements

We’re excited to introduce the newest update in Plesk Obsidian: 18.0.73. This release focuses on improving your Plesk experience with usability enhancements and the deprecation of outdated tools for a cleaner, faster workflow.

Improvement Highlights

Sitejet Builder

We added several features to the Sitejet Builder:

  • Added support for Turnstile as an upcoming CAPTCHA alternative.
  • Pass Plesk UI language to Sitejet Builder to ensure consistent localization.
  • Fixed an issue with the target of the Sitejet Website Builder button in the domain wizard.

WYSIWYG HTML Editor

The Jodit Editor, which replaced SPAW Editor in File Manager, has been improved and moved from the Beta stage to production. The Jodit interface language now matches the selected Plesk interface language and respects the ltr/rtl direction choice, and it’s now possible to insert images via the Jodit editor.

The Cut, Copy, and Paste buttons were added to the toolbar, and users can now copy and paste with no loss of formatting. Furthermore, a source editor is now available, allowing you to easily switch between windowed and full-size modes.

Small but Important Refinements

Plesk Obsidian v.73 added the -a (or --all) option for the plesk ext performance-booster db:apply-settings allowing you to optimize all settings for all supported MariaDB servers at once.

To make Plesk more accessible, we ensured that a number of the most popular Plesk extensions can be zoomed in by up to 200% in a browser with no loss of function.

As the Plesk Uservoice page will soon be deprecated, the ‘Suggest an Idea’ link in the Plesk footer now leads to the Plesk Productboard service.

Furthermore, to improve the stability of Plesk Obsidian, we implemented dozens of bug fixes based on our customers’ reports. These included the issue where clicking the ‘Sitejet Builder’ button in the ‘Adding New Domain’ wizard opened the AI Website Generator instead of Sitejet Builder.
