NTP Timesync

The extension provides an ability to configure NTP synchronization on the server using one of the modern NTP services.

Note: The extension cannot be installed on Virtuozzo/OpenVZ containers because of the lack of required functionality.

At the moment, the following service backends are supported:

• chrony
• ntpd
• systemd-timesyncd

Note: Some of these services might not be available on specific Linux distributions. For more information, refer to the documentation of the used distribution.
