Plesk Developer Program
Core Requirements for Marketplace Inclusion
- Your extension must have a clear, sustainable business model designed for a shared revenue structure. We are a commercial marketplace and prioritize partners who can demonstrate a clear path to generating significant, recurring revenue for both organizations.
- Free extensions will only be considered if they serve a critical strategic purpose.
- Our catalog is carefully curated to offer the best solutions to our users. Your extension must provide a unique and compelling value proposition that solves a tangible problem or unlocks a new opportunity for the Plesk community.
- We do not accept submissions that merely duplicate the core functionality of existing, successful extensions in the marketplace.
- The Plesk ecosystem is powered by a global network of hosting partners who serve millions of end-users. A successful extension must have broad appeal and provide clear value that our partners will be excited to offer to their customer base.
- Your product should be easily understood, marketed, and supported by a channel-driven ecosystem.
- The user experience is paramount. Your extension must be deeply and seamlessly integrated into the Plesk UI, providing an intuitive, reliable, and professional experience.
- Extensions that are unstable, are not performant, or compromise server security in any way will not be approved.
To ensure a consistent and automated customer experience, all commercial extensions must utilize the Plesk billing and provisioning system for all licenses sold through the marketplace. This is a non-negotiable requirement that simplifies purchasing, license management, and royalty accounting.
Extension providers are the experts on their products and are required to provide timely, professional, and effective technical support to all end-users. Furthermore, you must commit to maintaining full compatibility with all new versions and security updates of Plesk in a prompt manner. A failure to maintain and support your extension will result in its removal from the marketplace.
- Your marketplace listing, including all descriptions, documentation, screenshots, and branding, must be professional, accurate, and clearly communicate the extension’s value.
- We expect our partners to be active participants in the growth of their extension and to collaborate with our marketing teams on initiatives to drive mutual success.
