[HUB] License key has expired

Symptoms
The product license expired. The following errors may occur:

You are currently operating within the grace period of your product license.


Error: The license key is invalid. In order to use the Plesk, please obtain and install a new functioning license key.
Your license key has expired. To continue using your Plesk you must purchase a non-expiring commercial license key.


Cannot update license key. Cannot update license key: License key is not prolongated yet

Note: If license update would not complete successfully until the end of grace period, Plesk services might be interrupted and manual license update/reupload will be required.

What is license grace period in Plesk? 


Resolution
Retrieve your product license the following way: log in to Plesk > Tools & Settings > License Management > Retrieve Keys.

 

If Retrieve Keys option is not working, follow the steps below:

  1. Check if this is a trial license used on a server. 
    Log in to Plesk and check Key expiration date. If it is in the past and Next license key update set to Never, it means that the server was activated with the trial license that has expired.
    To reactivate Plesk, an active valid license key should be installed.
  2. Check if your license has been paid for renewal.

  3. Check if your server can connect Plesk license server.

    If your lease license renewal has been successfully paid or you are using Purchased (Perpetual) license, please make sure outgoing connection to the license server is allowed. For more information, see article:
