Unable to clone WordPress instance in WP Toolkit : PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class “WP_Upgrader_Skin” not found

Symptoms

• A WordPress Instance Clone process fails with:

  PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class "WP_Upgrader_Skin" not found in /opt/psa/admin/plib/modules/wp-toolkit/vendor/wp-cli/vendor/wp-cli/wp-cli/php/WP_CLI/UpgraderSkin.php:13

• The WordPress site may not work properly.

• The WordPress dashboard is working properly.

Cause

The issue is caused by the plugin Easy Updates Manager, when the wp-cli utility with argument search-replace cannot de-serialize the data from the plugin table eumlogs and fails to complete.

Resolution

1. Log into Plesk

2. Disable the conflicting plugin from WordPress > example.com > Plugins and clicking the ratio button.

   Note: If not needed this plugin can be removed instead.

3. Clone WordPress website from WordPress > example.com > Dashboard > clone

4. Enable back the Plugin disabled in step 2.
