Plesk Premium Antivirus cannot update: failed to download files

Symptoms

• Plesk Premium Antivirus cannot update nor during a scheduled update, nor manually with the following error:

  # /opt/drweb/update.pl
  ERROR: Dr.Web Updater: failed to download files !

• Firewall does not block connection to Dr.Web server:

  # curl updates.drweb.com
  #

Cause

Maintenance on the update servers.

Resolution

1. Connect to the server via SSH;

2. Download the attached list of working update servers and put it in the /var/drweb/bases/ folder:

   # wget https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/article_attachments/12377118481687/custom.drl
   # wget https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/article_attachments/12377118498711/signature.asc
   # cp custom.drl /var/drweb/bases/
   # cp signature.asc /var/drweb/bases/

3. Run the update:

   # /opt/drweb/update.pl
