Retrieving Licenses

After you have purchased a license, the new license appears in the list
on the Manage Licenses tab.

To use the product, you need to retrieve the purchased license and
install it in your product.

Depending on the type of activation supported by your product, you can
choose different methods of license retrieval.

Partner Central provides the following methods of license retrieval:

Note: When you download a license, you might be prompted to select the
version of the license. The license version is used when different
versions of a product require different versions of licenses.

To retrieve one or more licenses:

  1. Go to the Manage Licenses tab and select the licenses you want to
    retrieve. To display specific licenses, you can filter the list of
    all licenses using a search query.

    To select all licenses in the list, select the checkbox in the table
    header.

  2. In the menu, click Retrieve License and select how you would like
    to retrieve the licenses.

Alternatively, you can retrieve a single license on the license
properties screen:

  1. Go to the Manage Licenses tab and click the license number in the
    list of licenses.

    License properties screen opens.

  2. In the menu, click Retrieve License and select how you would like
    to retrieve the license.
