Upon key installation the following error is shown:
PLESK_ERROR: Another server already uses this license. To resolve the issue, contact the Plesk partner from whom you bought the license or, if the license is trial or bought in the Plesk online store, contact Plesk Support. (Error code: 2)
License is bound to the IP address, that is used on the server;
The license is bound to the e-mail hash as well.
Incorrect admin e-mail.
It is possible to check if the admin email address has been changed in Tools & Settings > Action Log.
Resolution with access to Plesk:
- Log into Plesk;
- Go to My Profile tab on the left side;
- Change the e-mail address to the one, that was before.
Resolution with access to the Partner Central:
Reset the e-mail hash binding for this particular license in Partner Central > Manage License > PLSK.01234567.0001 > More – Remove binding to admin email hash. Then after the license’s Retrieve or update it will be re-bonded to the new e-mail address.
