Tools & Settings > SSL/TLS Certificates > Certificate for securing mail > Change fails with error:
HTTP ERROR 500

Operations in Plesk fail: Allowed memory size of X bytes exhausted (tried to allocate Y bytes) was used to increase memory_limit up to 5000M and is still not helping.
Cause
Product issue:

#PPPM-12350 “The server-wide certificates page (Tools & Settings > SSL/TLS Certificates (under “Security”)) no longer fails to be opened if the server has a large number of subdomains (more than 500) secured with SSL/TLS certificates.”
Fixed in:- Plesk Obsidian 15 September 2020

Please consider updating your server:
Workaround
If update is not possible for some reason you may try the following
workaround

Connect to the server via SSH.

Change the certificate via command line:
# plesk bin mailserver –set-certificate “cert3” -certificate-repository example.net
Note: the certificate name can be retrieved from Tools & Settings > SSL/TLS Certificates or from Domains > example.com > SSL/TLS Certificates.
