The OS in use is Ubuntu 18.
Plesk web installer stucks in a loop after
all patches were applied.
autoinstallerprocess has finished successfully:
# ps auxfww | grep autoinstaller

The versions of Plesk web auto-installer is the following or lower:
# plesk installer –version
Plesk Installer 3.22.14 (revision cef153794d9f)
This is caused by a cosmetic bug with ID #PPPM-6029 which will be fixed in future releases of the product.
Note: Consider subscribing to this article in order to get notified when the fix is released or check for the ID in our changelog
Close the browser after installation or use CLI Plesk installer
It is a cosmetic bug and it does not break the installation of the packages. The web page can be safely closed after the packages are installed.
Note: Alternatively, the Plesk installer can be launched from the command line instead of doing it through the web interface as explained here: How to install Plesk for Linux
