Question
Does Plesk migrator support DNS configuration transfer in case of migrating from cPanel?
Answer
Plesk Migrator creates DNS zones and transfers DNS records according to the template defined in Tools & Settings > DNS Template.
Plesk Migrator does not support custom DNS configuration transfer at the moment.

The top-ranked suggestions are likely to be included in the next versions of Plesk.
Two workarounds are available, depending on the number of domains and repetitiveness of DNS records throughout domains’ DNS zones:
-
Create DNS zones manually in Domains > example.com > DNS Settings.
-
Migrate subscriptions in sets, creating separate DNS zones template according to each set of subscriptions:
-
Create a migration session in Plesk.
-
Go to Tools & Settings > DNS Template and add the necessary record templates.
Warning: respective records will not be applied to the subscriptions already existing on the server until the Apply DNS Template Change button is clicked, so do not click this button.
-
Migrate the subscriptions that need the records added according to the template.
-
Switch DNS for the migrated subscriptions:
Navigate to the Tools & Settings > DNS Template > click Apply DNS Template Changes.
-
Remove the unnecessary record templates and add the necessary ones at Tools & Settings > DNS Template.
Repeat steps 3-5 until all subscriptions are migrated.
